The idea
A men's grooming experience worth the chair
Most cuts are fifteen rushed minutes with a stranger who does not remember how you like it. We built the opposite of that.
The owner, Ryan, is dual-licensed in cosmetology and barbering with nearly two decades behind the chair and training from Paul Mitchell, Sassoon, and Redken. He built Barley & Mane around old-world craft, hot lather, the straight razor, precision scissor work, and wrapped it in a room that asks you to slow down: brick and black walls, vintage chairs, and a whiskey, a beer, or an espresso waiting when you sit.
The result is the highest rated shop in the market. But the part that matters is the one you feel in the chair: a barber who knows your name and your cut, and takes the time to get it right.
